At
George Industries, our quality attitude is one of prevention instead
of detection. While there will always be a need to measure and inspect
parts, we understand that using a process that is capable and in control
will save time, money and result in a better product.
So we utilize Statistical Process Control (S.P.C.) for both machine
and process capabilities. Using state of the art ANSTAT software and
GENISIS data entry units we are able to enter all needed data at all
working stations on our machine floor, enabling us to generate and
analyze real time CPs and CPKs, trend, X-bar and histogram charts.
We also use these powerful tools to generate and analyze attribute
data. With the use of P, NP, C, and U charts we get an actual picture
of our processes, this aids us in our PREVENTION instead of DETECTION
philosophy.

George
Industries' Quality System is multi-functional. Our system's original
standard is to the requirements of Mil-I-45208 with our calibration
standard to the requirements of MIL-STD-45662A, which also meets ANSI/NCSL
Z540-1994. All tools or gauges used for acceptance of product, either
company or employee owned, are calibrated by George Industries internally
or sent to a qualified lab and are traceable to NIST. All inspection
personnel have been trained to Boeing's Advanced Quality Systems and
Lockheed's Certified Supplier Program. An excellent quality rating
with all customers is a goal that our employees strive to maintain.
